A Weekend in Savannah

My husband and I recently got back from an intimate wedding held in Savannah, GA. It was a beautiful wedding, and was held at a local bed & breakfast. Having never stayed at a bed & breakfast before we really didn't know what to expect.

We stayed at the Gastonian, where no two rooms are alike. Take a look at some of our photos below:

My husband and I had a wonderful time, it was almost like a honeymoon for us as well! If you ever are in Savannah, I would highly recommend it. 

We have only made it up to Savannah a handful of times, but a staple for us when we stop there is Rancho Alegre Cuban Restaurant. My husband grew up in Miami, and this is the closest Cuban restaurant to us.

If you are ever near Savannah visit Rancho Alegre. Best. Cuban Food. Ever.

My Dream Kitchen

My husband and I moved into our home about two years ago, and although it's a fairly new home we find ourselves constantly updating it.

I scoured the web to find a kitchen that I loved that was similar to mine. I'm not about breaking the bank, so we won't do any heavy remodeling.

So, what's the catch?  The catch is that fiverr.com will take $1.00 of every $5.00 you make. It might not seem like a lot at first but simple things really add up.

Be Our Guest!

We moved into our home about two years ago, and we have slowly been transforming our lovely abode room by room. One day we decided to tackle the dining room. I didn’t mind the paint that was already in the dining room, but my husband had other ideas…

We decided to go with a dark green on the top, and we almost kept the bottom color but changed it to a soft khaki at the last minute…

We ended up LOVING our end result. This is the first room that guests see when they walk in our front entry, and we wanted it to match the rest of our house as well.

We will eventually put down some hardwood floors but for now, the tile will have to do!
